Why the high premiums for silver pandas

Looking to buy more silver. Just bought buffalo rounds but would like to get other forms of silver.

So why are Pandas so high?
Are they a good foriegn silver coin to buy? So far I have been just buying Eagles and Maples.

thanks

'cause, they're.. pretty. And also the reverse changes every year. It's kinda like kookaburras, koalas and such.

Buy the Australian lunar tigers, less of a premium and past years sell for nice premiums on ebay. Cant go wrong with lunars imo.

Pandas are nice but I'd just buy a few at the most, no sense stacking a bunch of them at the premiums they charge.

"Why the high premiums for silver pandas?"

Because people are willing to pay 'em??

no, because the mint issues them at premiums.
You can find certain year pandas on eBay for close to spot but the whole fake coin thing makes eBay a bit risky unless if you're into the 5oz and 12oz versions.

If you're going to buy a forgery, you might as well pay a lot.
